The artistic creations conjured up at the Adelong Falls Art Day will be open for the public to view this month, in an exhibition at the Tumut Visitors Centre.
Adelong Falls Conservation Coordinator Louise Halsey said the exhibition would reflect the magic of the Adelong Falls.
“Artists and school children gathered at the falls and were inspired by the landscape to create artworks working experimentally ‘within’ and ‘with’ the environment,” she said.
“The landscape was used to create works on paper, weaving, ephemeral art and photography.
“Photographs of creations made on the day, pigment paintings, natural handmade brushes, prints and woven objects will combine to make this a unique and exciting exhibition.”
The Adelong Falls Art Day took place earlier in the year on March 24.
The exhibition officially opens at the Tumut Information Centre on Saturday, August 19, from 11am to 12.30pm. It will be open throughout August and September 2017.
