Possum Point fire breaks containment

The Possum Point fire broke containment on Friday and headed in a South Easterly direction with the aid of a North Westerly wind.

The RFS says it is not travelling with much speed and there is minimal threat to farmland, although firefighters are working with a farmer to minimise loss of pasture.

The Cabramurra to Khancoban road is closed until further notice.

The fires at Little Talbingo and West Blowering are more or less under control, and the Masons Hill fire is contained.

All residents are advised to keep up date of where they are and what is happening. The bush fire information line is 1800 679 737.
